Set up authentication and provisioning for users who need to access Verint products and services available on the Identity V2 platform.
Workflow
-
Prepare to integrate with Identity V2
Before you can use Verint Identity for user access and Single Sign-On (SSO), Verint requires information about your users and how they are authenticated.
-
Configure authentication for Identity V2
With Verint Identity, either an Identity Provider (IdP) or the Identity Service authenticates the user before the user can access a Verint service or application.
-
User provisioning is the process of creating, maintaining, updating, and deleting accounts for users requiring access to Verint applications and services. Verint Identity supports automatic user provisioning from an Identity Provider (IdP) through SCIM, manual provisioning through Identity Management, and WFE Sync for Verint cloud Workforce Engagement (WFE) customers.
-
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a multiple-step sign-in process for user authentication.
With Identity V2, Verint MFA is a requirement for non-federated users (users who are authenticated by Verint Identity and not an IdP). All non-federated users need to set up an MFA app on their phone to confirm their identity.
-
Verify Identity V2 users and access
When configuration of Verint Identity is complete, use the Identity Management portal to verify users and access.
