With Verint Identity, either an Identity Provider (IdP) or the Identity Service authenticates the user before the user can access a Verint service or application.
-
Authentication by an IdP requires both Verint and your IdP administrator to configure settings that enable Verint to pass authentication requests to your IdP.
-
Authentication through the Identity Service requires no configuration. The Identity Service automatically authenticates non-federated users when they are provisioned in Verint Identity Management.
